Tommy and Alexis have been sick for a week at this point and have finally decided that going to the doctor is a good idea. Between work and taking care of everything at home it’s been an exhausting week. I find I’m running to the grocery story for one or two things and haven’t made time for a full grocery shop. This has led to a lot of eating out which is not good in a whole lot of ways.
Breakfast was quick on my way out the door for dog walking appointments. Honey Bunches of Oats cereal (my second favorite only to Capt’n Crunch Crunch Berries which I haven’t had in years!) with coffee. An orange is pictured here with it but I’m pretty sure I didn’t end up eating that orange. Boo!
Lunch was a Subway sandwich picked up after appointments and before I took the sickies to the doctor. Sliced turkey on wheat with vinegar instead of mayo or mustard. A ton of veggies and no cheese. A couple of tortilla chips on the side for a little crunch.
My calories were a little out of control at this point (seriously, cereal is bad for calorie counting, yo!) so I opted for a tuna salad for dinner with some black eyed peas on the side for even more protein.
Wrap-Up: I didn’t workout but I did get my 10,000 steps in for the day. Food was great and was within all my calorie/fat/protein limits! The week is going well and I’m feeling very much in control. Keep it going!
