Great food day but was tired from Zumba so I didn’t do the weights that I had on deck for today.  Lame.

Eats for Tuesday, January 22nd

Eggs and 1 piece of whole wheat toast for breakfast along with coffee (always with two teaspoons of sugar in the raw and 2 teaspoons of half & half).

Lunch was a grilled cheese sandwich and a salad that was primarily artichokes and mushrooms with a little bit of lettuce at the bottom.  This was Tommy’s request for himself (He’s still sick) so I made myself one too. It was amazing!

Snack was a small handful of almonds.  *drool*

Dinner was whole wheat pasta tossed with chicken, broccoli and spaghetti sauce.  I got this idea from Laura and switched it up a little.  The family loved it and it’s on our menu again for next week. Yay!

Wrap-up: I went over a little on my calories allotted for the day (a measly 15) but hit all other nutrients as outlined and didn’t workout.  Not so great but it could have been a whole lot worse!
