WIAW – Week 3

It’s another Wednesday which means it’s time for Jenn’s What I Ate Wednesday!

“Hey, Nicole, what did you eat today?”
“Well, since you asked…!”

The day was extremely busy and time got away from me. I didn’t get to eat breakfast which I know is a no-no on so many different levels.  I sucked down some coffee on my way to work. I had to be there very early this morning and my body doesn’t like to eat before 8:30am . When I finally got hungry I was in back to back meetings and didn’t have an opportunity to hook myself up with some food.

For lunch we ordered out Jason’s Deli which isn’t my favorite but a lunch is a lunch and I’m grateful for something that I don’t have to make.

I ordered a tuna sandwich and steamed veggies.  They put it on a croissant.

Tuna on croissant sounds very yummy.

However it didn't look all that appetizing. Perhaps I shouldn't have waited an hour after I got it to be able to actually eat. Soggy bread - I only ate half.

It was an extremely long day and I didn’t have a chance to stop for my afternoon snack or tea.  I luckily had something in my bag that could count as my dinner if it had to.  I ate this on the way to church.

Granola bar and a banana - dinner of champions?

It wasn’t the best food day and I didn’t get a work out in either due to the very long hours at work.  Tomorrow will be a better day all around. Happy Wednesday!

Fat. Argh!

It happens! Good for you for owning the day and posting these eats. Make it a better day tomorrow!

Pretty sure the reason it sucked is because it’s from Jason’s Deli. Snort. I hate their food!

  3. Yikes! We hate soggy bread. The tuna can definitely do that to thin croissant bread in transit — when you eat it fresh at the deli, there’s never an issue. We recommend trying the tuna on focaccia if you’re ordering take-out.

In any case, we’re inspired by your blog and we hope you don’t mind if we add it to our reading list! 🙂
