Is it Friday yet? I have a very exciting weekend planned for myself. I’m dying for the weekend to get here. More on that later…
Tonight I was excited to be a part of the FitBlog Chat that is held every Tuesday evening. Everyone is invited to join and we discuss blogging and health/food related questions via Twitter. It’s alot of fun! I find it very inspirational and motivating to chat with other people who are on the same journey that I am.
I thought I’d share the questions from tonight’s chat and my responses – just for fun!

Food today was of the fruit and veggie variety with a little bit of protein thrown in. It just seems like I had nothing but fruits & veggies. I started the day off with a banana on the way to the gym. I always have to force this down because my body doesn’t really want food at 6:15 am. If I don’t eat something I get very fatigued during my workout. So, I deal.
Post workout I had some maple & brown sugar oatmeal. One of my favorite go-to work breakfasts.
During the early morning we had the food truck Blenders & Bowls come and visit us at work. I tried them last week and fell in love with their fruit smoothie bowl. It’s so amazing! I’ll be a regular customer during their twice a week visits to our office.
I had this at about 10:00am so for lunch I just had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I was pretty hungry through and didn’t think to take a picture until I was about half way through with it. Woopsie!
Afternoon snack was a cup of hot tea. The office doesn’t seem to drink afternoon coffee so tea will have to be my substitute. I’ll make it work or start brewing my own coffee in the afternoon. If you brew it, they will come – type thing?
I got out of work kind of late so Tommy & Ali made dinner while I was on my drive home. It was such a treat to walk into the house and have dinner ready. I loved it! Thanks guys!
My workout this morning was good. I wasn’t feeling alot of energy this morning but I pounded out 40 minutes on the elliptical. I’m getting the hang of going to the gym in the mornings before work. I feel that “post workout high” for about 3 hours after I get done. It’s a wonderful feeling.
Gotta go to bed. My goal was to be in bed by 10:00pm but I didn’t quite make it. 🙂 30 minutes late…
